NIPA Board Chair, 2024 to 2027

In accordance with NIPA’s governance rules we now need to run a process to decide on the Board’s Chair for the period 2024 to 2027. The following is the programme for this:

a. 17:00 on Friday 08 November 2024: deadline for nominations and candidate statements (no more than two A4 sides) to be received in accordance with the Nominations and Election Guidance below.  Members may only nominate themselves and only those members who have paid their 2024/25 subscription on or before Wednesday 06 November 2024 will be eligible to nominate themselves.  All nominations and candidate statements must be sent by email to:info@nipa-uk.org.

b. Monday 11 November 2024: list of nominations and statements published; and (i) if there is only one eligible nomination, that candidate is confirmed as the NIPA Board Chair from Monday 02 December 2024; or (ii) if there is more than one eligible nomination, an election will need to be held and all such eligible nominees wishing to stand in the election must confirm their candidacy by email to: info@nipa-uk.org before 17:00 on Thursday 14 November 2024.

c. Friday 15 November 2024: email voting opens in relation to all confirmed eligible nominees. Only those NIPA members who have paid their 2024/25 subscription on or before Wednesday 06 November 2024 will be eligible to vote.

d. 18:00 on Friday 29 November 2024: email voting closes.

e. Monday 02 December 2024: Board Chair 2024-2027 announced.
