Help Shape the Future of Infrastructure Consultation

The consultation process for Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects is changing under the Planning and Infrastructure Act 2025.

As part of a research project led by UWE Bristol and commissioned by the National Infrastructure Planning Association (NIPA-UK.ORG), we are inviting stakeholders with experience of NSIP consultation to share their views on what “good practice” should look like under the new regime.

Your insights will help us:

✅Identify what makes consultation effective and meaningful
✅Learn from direct project experiences
✅Inform future guidance to improve consultation practices

There are two routes to complete the survey:

1️ – For project promoters and their advisors engaging in the planning and delivery of projects, including those who have designed and carried out consultation:

Either route should take 10–15 minutes and both surveys are open until 31 January 2026.
