NIPA MATTERS Event on 18th September: 5pm to 6pm (ONLINE)

Round Two of the Innovation and Capacity Fund for local authorities looked to identify improvements to support the NSIPs Reform Action Plan.  Somerset Council have recently delivered their final report ‘Delivering Better Outcomes for All – the Shared Vision Led Approach (SVLA)’ which has been incorporated into the ongoing NPPF consultation. We are delighted to be holding a NIPA Matters session which presents and discusses this innovative approach:

  • Introduction to the SVLA by Jaia Mridula from the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government;
  •  Presentation by Tess Bond (Somerset Council); and
  •  A panel session chaired by Amanda Pownall (NIPA Council) comprising:

  • Jaia Mridula – MHCLG;
  • Andy Coupé – Head of Infrastructure Programmes (Somerset);
  • Tess Bond – Senior Planning Officer, Infrastructure Programmes (Somerset); and
  • Lynn Basford – Managing Director of Basford Powers.

This is a free online event, and all are welcome. Come along and bring your questions for the panel!
