Launch of the 2024 NIPA Awards

On behalf of the NIPA Board, and as part of our continued drive to identify and showcase best practice within the planning for and delivery of nationally significant infrastructure projects (NSIPs), I am delighted to launch our 2024 Awards.
This year there are two Awards:
- The National Infrastructure Planning Association Award for “Best Project”; and
- The National Infrastructure Planning Association Early Years Practitioner (EYP) Award.
The Awards build on NIPA’s Insights II and Insights III research projects published in 2019 and in 2023, which have focused on building trust, providing evidence, ensuring appropriate controls and effective delivery.
Submissions for “Best Project” are for NSIPs consented between 01 October 2023 and 30 September 2024 inclusive, using the NIPA Best Project 2024 Award submission form and following the NIPA Best Project 2024 Award submission guidance, should be sent to info@nipa-uk.org by 6.00pm on Thursday 24 October 2024.
Submissions for the EYP Award, using the NIPA EYP Award 2024 submission form and following the NIPA EYP Award 2024 submission guidance, should also be sent to info@nipa-uk.org by 6.00pm on Thursday 24 October 2024.
A panel of independent judges will meet to consider submissions, and the winners of the 2024 Awards will be announced at NIPA’s Annual Dinner on 21 November 2024.
