Launch of the 2026 NIPA Awards

On behalf of the NIPA Board, and as part of our continued drive to identify and showcase best practice in the consenting and delivery of nationally significant infrastructure projects (NSIPs), I am delighted to launch our 2026 Awards.
Once again there are two Awards:
The National Infrastructure Planning Association Award for “Best Project”; and
The National Infrastructure Planning Association Early Years Practitioner (EYP) Award.
Submissions for “Best Project” are for NSIPs consented between 01 October 2025 and 30 September 2026 inclusive, using the NIPA Best Project 2026 Award submission form below and following the NIPA Best Project 2026 Award submission guidance (also below), should be sent to info@nipa-uk.org by 6.00pm on Friday 30 October 2026.
Submissions for the EYP Award, using the NIPA EYP Award 2026 submission form and following the NIPA EYP Award 2026 submission guidance (below), should also be sent to info@nipa-uk.org by 6.00pm on Friday 30 October 2026.
A panel of independent judges will meet to consider submissions, and the winners of the 2026 Awards will be announced at NIPA’s Annual Dinner on Wednesday 02 December 2026.
